Have you had an accident or a fall in your home?
Do yo find it hard to keep on track with bills?

If you answered YES to any of these wuestions and you live in your own home or rent from a private landlord, then you need a FREE healthy homes check
​
What will the check involve?
​
The Healthy Homes Officer will ask to have a look around your home to check for risks to your health and welbeing and will talk through other problems you might have. The visit shouldnt take any longer than 30 minutes. The visits are carried out by Healthy Homes Officers from Stafford Borough Council. You will know its them because they will be carrying identification. If you have any doubts you can contact us on 01785 619000

What Happends after the First Visit?
​
We will look at all of the infomation that you provide and decide, with you what the next steps will be. Together, we can agree on what will work best to support you.
​
We work with diffrent partners to be able to help you achieve a healthy home, such as the Fire Service, Home Improvment Agency, Community Centres and a range of NHS Services
