What is Penkside Community Choir?
Penkside Community Choir is a volluntary run choir and is all about singing for fun, the choir meets every friday night at St Peters Community Hall in Rickerscote Silkmore - Stafford.
Saturday 7th July 2012 saw the Penkside Community Choir make their first public performance at the St Peters Summer Fair. Three songs were performed, 'For once in my Life', 'Swing Low Sweet Chariot' and 'The People's Song from Les Miserables.

First Time Meeting
The first meeting of the Penkside Community Choir took Place, on Friday 23rd March 2012, when 8 reluctant volunteers came together to make some music. After initiall fun warm up exercises we knuckled down to learn a couple of songs finishing with a rendition of 'Can You Hear the People Sing' from 'Les Miserables'.
